What a great book The message is so on point, and the illustrations are beautiful We are all sharing space on this rock, and the accepting we are of ALL our differences, the better. A perfect read for our children. This book became a fast favorite of our three year old It is a welcomed intervention into the heavily gendered and simple narratives that I see in most children s books. Great message for the new school year The colors and illustrations are my kids favorite part. This book is absolutely amazing I bought it on a recommendation from a colleague because I wanted to teach about Intersectionality when discrimination is magnified as a result of having than one identity that is marginalized The book includes characters of different physical abilities, economic status, gender expression, religion, race, culture, language, family structures and roles, and immigration status and emphasizes making room in the world for all by supporting one another It is a beautifully written and illustrated book, with additional information about and from the authors to aid in using it with children I NEVER pay full price on books, but this one is worth ever penny and
